Fido Fest to support Young-Williams

Saturday, May 19th we will be at Fido Fest 2018! This 2nd annual event is being hosted by The Pinnacle at Turkey Creek. There will be lots of vendors, groups, food, games, and fun. The event will be set up near Cru Bistro.

They’ve partnered with our friends at Young Williams Animal Center and local retailers to create an afternoon that celebrates our four-legged friends. Bring the whole family to enjoy a pet photo booth, kids’ activities, food trucks, local vendors and live entertainment! Stay tuned for a full list of vendors, sponsors and giveaways. Tickets are $5 and proceeds go to support Young-Williams. Kids under 10 years old are free!  All animal lovers and four-legged friends are welcome. Help us celebrate being a pet-friendly shopping center at the Pinnacle!

Adoption Event – Village Vet Hospital

Village Vet is having their annual pet fair! Come by to meet our spring class! Cason, Roscoe, Spring, and Velvet will be on hand to show off some of the skills they’re learning. The dogs will go through 4 weeks of training with their teen handlers and are looking for their new, forever homes that they can go to once they graduate. They’ve all been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, and on heartworm preventative. Stop by to say hello and meet this great group of dogs!

There will also be lots of fun, food, games, prizes, and other rescues on hand for this family-friendly event. They’ll have tours of their facility and you can learn about a day in the life working at a veterinary clinic.

Howl-O-Ween Pooch Parade

The University of Tennessee Gardens, Knoxville, is going to the dogs for a Howl-O-Ween Pooch Parade and Pet Expo. The event, sponsored by the UT Gardens and the UT College of Veterinary Medicine, caters to dogs and dog lovers and will be held in the UT Gardens on the Institute of Agriculture campus. Join us for the costume pet parade emceed by Erin Donovan with prizes, pet businesses, H.A.L.T. and many other rescue groups, family fun, and food!  howloween

Adoption Event – Meadow View Greenhouse

Come by to meet our new Fab 5 that will be participating in the fall class. We have Petey, Stewie, George, Pickles and Abby.

All dogs are spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, on heartworm preventative, and will have basic commands training after they spend 4 weeks with their teen trainers. Our adoption fee is $150. Applications are being accepted now. Dogs will be ready to go to their new homes after the first week of October. (Due to our home visit policy, applicants must live in the Knoxville area)
